Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Sara Holden is not your typical “LA Blonde.” She is a spirited, no-nonsense, and feisty gal from the Midwest. Starting at the young age of 12, she appeared in every theatre production throughout her high school years, roles ranging from playing “Violet” in “It’s a Wonderful Life” to “Elly May” in “The Beverly Hillbillies.” She attended Western Michigan University where she graduated with honors with an Advertising/Marketing degree. She then moved to Chicago, training with Second City for three years and was also named spokeswoman for Steve Peters Chevrolet commercials. With her strong will and determination, she made the big move to Hollywood in 2004.
Since she arrived, she has worked on numerous independent films, had a small role on FOX’s “The OC” and worked in a sketch with Johnny Knoxville on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live”. However, her latest venture happened when she was asked to stunt double Pamela Anderson in the feature film “Blonde and Blonder” co starring Denise Richards. With that gig, she landed many more stunt roles on Monk, Numbers, Notes from the Underbelly, House and Rob Zombie’s Halloween. With stunts, hosting and acting, Sara keeps pretty busy as she now resides in Hollywood while making many trips back to Detroit to visit her family and newly born
niece Brooklyn. |
